Variations of gwistor space (Q372064)

This paper is devoted to the variations of the \(g\)-natural \(G_2\)-structures on the unit tangent sphere bundle of an oriented Riemannian 4-manifold \((M,g)\). \(G_2\)-structures on the unit tangent sphere bundle, introduced in a previous paper by the author and Salavessa, are entirely determined by a non-degenerate 3-form. In this article a circle of structures for which the induced metric is a Sasaki metric is determined. Moreover equations of calibration and cocalibration, of \(W_3\) pure type and nearly parallel type are deduced.
