A meromorphic function is a single valued function of a complex variable which has no singularities other than poles in the finite complex plane. In the paper under review, the growth of meromorphic functions in connection with Picard values with a radically distributed value is investigated. Here, the author generalizes a classical result of \textit{W. K. Hayman} published in the paper entitled ``Picard values of meromophic functions and their derivatives'' [Ann. Math. (2) 70, 9-42 (1959; Zbl 0088.28505)]. The organization of the article focusing on the main theme is up to the mark. The paper would be even more beautiful with the insertion of some relevant examples or counter examples at suitable places.
