Transference principles for log-Sobolev and spectral-gap with applications to conservative spin systems (English)
The work considers the problem of bounds for the Spectral-Gap of the log-Sobolev constant, which is important for the statistical physics of spin systems since a uniform lower bound for this quantity determines the existence of a unique phase in such a system in the termodynamical limit. The principal approach is based on the transfer of SG or LS inequality from the measure-metric space \((\Omega,d,\mu)\), where \(\mu\) is a Borel probability measure to a perturbation. The corresponding theorems are proven e.g. within the Euclidean setting and under convexity assumption. As an application, the conservative spin model is considered.
