According to the author, it is known that two values of the number of degrees of freedom exist for a given gas for \(\mu=0\) and as \(\mu\rightarrow-\infty.\) These two points on the \((Z,P)\)-diagram correspond to \(P=1\) and \(P=0\), respectively. Moreover, at the point \(P=1\), the spinodal is perpendicular to the segment of the straight line \[ Z=Z_c=\frac{\zeta(\gamma_0+2)}{\zeta(\gamma_0+1)},\quad 0\leq P\leq 1, \] and at the point \(P=0\), the spinodal is perpendicular to the \(Z\) axis. In other words, at the first point, \(dZ/dP=\infty\), and at the second point, \(dZ/dP=0\). The author says that the curve passing through these points is minimally smoothed if the curvature \(k\) is linear along the curve and the ratio of the curvature values at these two points is proportional to the ratio of these lengths of perpendiculars drawn from each point to the intersection point. Such a minimal smoothing approximately corresponds to the spinodal. Then, for a nonideal gas, a generalization of the type of a Bogoliubov-Vlasov self-consistent field is given if the potential of pairwise interaction is known. A ``two-liquid'' model of the supercritical region, i.e., a superfluid ``liquid'' (molecules-monomers) and a normal ``liquid'' (clusters), is constructed.
