    In this article the author considers the Oseen problem in \(\mathbb R^3\). Then proved a maximum modulus theorem for this problem, generalizing similar results for the linearized Stokes problem. Namely, supposing \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain with boundary \(C^{1,\nu}\), \(0<\nu <1\), let \(\vec u\in (C^2(\Omega))^3\cap(C^0(\overline{\Omega}))^3\) and \(p\in C^1(\Omega)\) solution of \[ -\Delta \vec u+2\lambda\partial_1\vec u+\nabla p=0, \] \[ \mathrm{div}\;\vec u=0, \] in \(\Omega\). Suppose that \(|\vec u|\leq M\) on \(\partial \Omega\) and \(\limsup|\vec u|\leq M\) as \(|x|\to\infty\). Then \(|\vec u|\leq cM\) on \( \Omega\), where \(c\) depends only on \(\Omega\) and \(\lambda\).
