A submanifold \(M\) of a Kähler manifold \(\tilde{M}\) is said to be \textit{Lagrangian} whenever the complex structure \(J\) of \(\tilde{M}\) maps vectors tangent to \(M\) onto those which are orthogonal to \(M\) (and conversely, orthogonal ones onto tangent ones). Here, the authors provide a new method of construction of Lagrangian surfaces in \(\mathbb C^2\) and characterize those which are either minimal, or of constant mean curvature, or stationary Hamiltonian, or Willmore surfaces, or solitons for the mean curvature flow.
