The Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture predicts a relationship between central \(L-\)values of automorphic forms on classical groups and its period integral. There is a further explicated version of the conjecture by Ichino-Ikeda. An approach to establish the conjecture is using relative trace formula. Jacquet-Rallis proposed a relative trace formula to establish the conjecture in the case of Gross-Prasad period of \(\mathrm{U}_n\times \mathrm{U}_{n-1}\) (which is developed by Z. Yun and W. Zhang with tremendous success). Meanwhile Jacquet and Flicker (separately) have proposed a relative trace formula approach for the Whittaker period of \(\mathrm{U}_n\). This paper interpolates the relative trace formulas and proposed the conjecture in the case of Bessel and Fourier-Jacobi periods on unitary groups. The Gross-Prasad period and Whittaker periods are two (opposite) extremes of Bessel and Fourier-Jacobi periods. The paper also established the fundamental lemma in the case of \(\mathrm{U}(n) \times \mathrm{U}(n)\) based on the fundamental lemma for \(\mathrm{U}_n\times \mathrm{U}_{n-1}\) (established by Yun).
