Tropical geometry deals with rigid-analytic spaces as well as algebraic varieties. Tropicalization of rigid-analitic spaces was introduced by \textit{M. Einsiedler} et al. [J. Reine Angew. Math. 601, 139--157 (2006; Zbl 1115.14051)] and \textit{W. Gubler} [Invent. Math. 169, No. 2, 321--376 (2007; Zbl 1153.14036)]. The present paper develops a connection between rigid-analitic spaces and tropical geometry. The author gives a formula for the valuations and multiplicities of common zeroes of \(n\) converges power series in n variables; he also shows that the (stable) tropical intersection product computes the classical one. Reviewer's remark: It is impossible not to agree with the author who said this paper is readable both to tropical and arithmetic geometers. Like an introduction to the subject the paper specifies all necessary definitions, notions and ideas and shows a close connection between tropical algebraic geometry and rigid-analytic spaces.
