On higher-dimensional contrast structure of singularly perturbed Dirichlet problem (Q424284)

The occurrence of internal layers for singularly perturbed higher-dimensional systems under Dirichlet boundary condition and with a hyperbolic structure of the critical manifold is studied. The step-like contrast structure is constructed and the internal transition time using the first integral condition is determined. Finally, a nontrivial example is provided to illustrate the proposed method.
