The paper deals with the quasi-singular boundary integrals of the form \[ \int_{T_{h}}\frac{\widetilde{g}(x,y-x)}{\left\| y-x\right\| ^{n+l}}dT_{h},\quad y\in T_{h},\;0<\mathrm{dist}(x,T_{h})<O(1), \] where \(n \) is the order of singularity, \(T_{h}\) is a linear or quadratic triangular finite element and \(\widetilde{g}\) is an analytic function having a root of order \(l\) in \(\left( y-x\right)\). Such integrals appear in the boundary elements method, when boundary value problems in a three-dimensional domain are transformed into integral equations on the boundary. The point source \(x\) is very close to the triangle \(T_{h}\). The author presents a survey of some numerical techniques based on the use of the Gauss quadrature formula and some changes of variables that depend on the minimal distance between \(T_{h}\) and the point source \(x\) which is supposed not to belong to \(T_{h}\). Estimations of the approximation errors are presented.
