Given an evolution triple \(X\subset H \subset X^*\), where \(H\) is a separable Hilbert space and \(X\) is a separable and reflexive Banach space embedded compactly and densely into \(H\). The authors consider the evolution inclusion \[ \dot{x}(t)+Ax(t)\in F(t,x),\;x(0)=x_0\in H,\;t\in [0,1]. \] The operator \(A: X\rightarrow X^*\) is hemicontinuous and monotone and the multifunction \(F:[0,1]\times H \rightrightarrows H\) is almost continuous with linear growth and closed bounded values. Moreover, the involved multifunction is supposed to be Kamke continuous, an assumption which is weaker than the Lipschitz one. Firstly, the authors study strong approximation of the solution set of the considered differential inclusion. Secondly, a Bogolyubov type theorem and the relaxation stability of the optimal control system with the cost functional \[ \int_0^1 g(t,x(t), \dot{x}(t)+Ax(t))\, dt, \] where \(g\) is almost continuous and bounded on bounded sets, are established. Moreover, the obtained results are applied to discrete approximations of the generalized Bolza problem. Finally, the authors show how the approximate system can be considered as an abstract nonlinear programming problem.
