On the uniform nonsingularity property for linear transformations on Euclidean Jordan algebras (Q430949)

The authors consider complementarity problems defined by linear transformations on Euclidean Jordan algebras. They show that the uniform nonsingularity property of a linear transformation implies this property for principal subtransformations and also the P-property for it and for its principal subtransformations. Also, it is proved that the uniform nonsingularity property is invariant under the action of cone automorphisms and implies the global uniqueness property on simple algebras. Next, a simple necessary condition for the uniform nonsingularity property is given and it is shown that the P-property does not imply this property in general.
