This paper is related to arbitrary infinitesimally multiplicative (IM) differential forms on Lie groupoids. The authors use the data of Lie algebroid associated to the Lie groupoid. For this reason, to describe IM forms on Lie algebroids, they firstly deal with linear differential forms on vector bundles. In Theorem 2 which is one of the main results of the paper, it is given the one-to-one correspondence between multiplicative k-forms on a source-simply-connected Lie groupoid and IM k-forms on its Lie algebroid. Later, it is introduced the relationship between Theorem 2 and the Van Est isomorphism. Finally, the authors show in Section 6 that the techniques used in the paper to study infinitesimal versions of multiplicative forms can be equally applied to multiplicative multivector fields.
