The authors [in \textit{P. Nuss} and \textit{M. Wambst}, J. Algebra 319, No. 11, 4621-4645 (2008; Zbl 1155.16006)] introduce a non-Abelian cohomology theory for Hopf algebras with coefficients in comodule algebras. This cohomology theory extends Serre's non-Abelian cohomology of groups [\textit{J.-P. Serre}, Corps Locaux. Paris: Hermann (1962; Zbl 0137.02601); Galois cohomology. Berlin: Springer (1997; Zbl 0902.12004)] and descent cohomology [\textit{P. Nuss} and \textit{M. Wambst}, J. Algebra 312, No. 2, 733-754 (2007; Zbl 1124.16009)]. The \textit{Radford product} of Hopf algebras [\textit{D. E. Radford}, J. Algebra 92, 322-347 (1985; Zbl 0549.16003); \textit{E. J. Taft}, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 68, 2631-2633 (1971; Zbl 0222.16012)] generalises the semi-direct product of groups. Given a Hopf algebra \(H\) and an algebra \(E\) in the braided Yetter-Drinfeld category over \(H\), this product \(H*E\) will itself be a Hopf algebra. The present article focuses on the cohomology of Radford products. Its main result is a decomposition of the cohomology of a product \(H*E\) in terms of the cohomology of \(H\) and \(E\). The authors give examples and an application to the non-Abelian cohomology of a semi-direct product of groups.
