      The author studies the existence and multiplicity of periodic solutions to some Newtonian-type systems which are partially asymptotically linear at infinity. The method of proof involves the theory of topological degree for \(S^1\)-equivariant gradient maps. Some technical examples are provided at the end of the paper.
