The authors consider the following lattice system as a discrete analog to the three-component reversible Gray-Scott model: \[ \begin{aligned} \dot{u}_m&=d_1(u_{m+1}+u_{m-1}-2u_m)-(\lambda+k)u_m+u_m^2v_m-\alpha u_m^3+\beta w_m,\\ \dot{v}_m&=d_2(v_{m+1}+v_{m-1}-2v_m)+\lambda(a_m-v_m)-u_m^2v_m+\alpha u_m^3,\\ \dot{w}_m&=d_3(w_{m+1}+w_{m-1}-2w_m)+ku_m-(\lambda+\beta)w_m,\end{aligned} \] where \(m\in \mathbb Z\), \(a=\{a_m\}_{m\in \mathbb Z}\in l^2\), \(d_1,d_2,d_3,\lambda,k,\alpha,\beta\) are positive constants. Under some appropriate assumptions, they first show the unique existence of the solution to the initial value problem and of a bounded absorbing set, and then the existence of a global attractor for the generated solution semigroup. An upper bound of the Kolmogorov \(\epsilon\)-entropy for the obtained global attractor is also given.
