The topic of this paper are POS-groups (where POS means ``perfect order subsets''). These are groups \(G\) such that for all \(n\) the number of elements of order \(n\) in \(G\) divides the order of \(G\). These groups have been studied since 2009, and the authors make some new contributions in case that \(G\) has some cyclic Sylow subgroups. For example, if the Sylow 2 subgroups of a POS-group are cyclic, then 3 divides \(|G|\) or \(G\) has a self-centralizing Sylow 2-subgroup. If in addition the Sylow 2-subgroups have order 4, more results are obtained; and they are classified if 3 does not divide \(|G|\). The paper also contains some structural results on POS-groups of order \(p^aq^b\), where the Sylow \(p\)-subgroup is cyclic. Such groups are mostly certain Frobenius groups with some possible exceptions.
