The authors provides an inequality and some its corollaries for a set of orthonormal functions, which can be solutions of the Schrödinger equation. The proven facts and estimations can be useful for a study of quantum mechanics problems, e.g. for a system of fermions (one of the examples provided) and for an analysis of situation for time-dependent potentials.
