This paper proposes to count bound states of D4-D2-D0-branes on Calabi-Yau threefolds by identifying the moduli problem within the Joyce-Song theory of generalized Donaldson-Thomas invariants, and relates the resulting counts with MNOP invariants of ideal sheaves.
