In a separable reflexive Banach space the following differential inclusion is considered: \[ x^{\prime}(t)+A(t,x(t))+Bx(t)+\partial J(t,x(t))\ni g(t,x(t))u(t)+h(t,x(t))\eqno (1) \] with the mixed constraint \[ u(t)\in U(t,x(t)),\; t\in [0,b], \eqno{(2)} \] where \(\partial J\) denotes the Clarke subdifferential of the locally Lipschitz function \(J(t,\cdot): H\rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) and \(U(t,x),\; (t,x)\in [0,b]\times H,\) is a multi-valued map with closed values that is lower semi-continuous in the second variable. In the paper, the map \(V(t,x)\), the convex upper semi-continuous regularization of \(U(t,x)\), is introduced and the problem (1),(3) is considered: \[ u(t)\in V(t,x(t))\eqno {(3)}. \] Existence theorems for solutions of the problems (1),(2) and (1), (3) are proved. Moreover, it is shown that \(Tr_{V}(x_0)\) is a compact set in \(C([0,T],H)\) and \[ Tr_{V}(x_0)=\overline{Tr_{U}(x_0)}, \] where \(Tr_{V}(x_0)\) and \(Tr_{U}(x_0)\) are the solution sets of (1),(2) and (1),(3).
