Recall that a semitopological group is a group with a topology such that the multiplication in the group is separately continuous. Answering several questions posed in work of M. Tkachenko, the authors give a unified internal description of the \(T_i(G)\)-reflection for a semitopological group \(G\) with the help of the concept of the smallest \(T_i\)-quotient subgroup in \(G\) \((i\in \{0,1,2\}).\) They also give internal descriptions for the \(T_3\)-reflection \(T_3(G)\) and the regular reflection \({ Reg}(G)\) of a semitopological group \(G.\) Indeed \(T_3(G)\) is the semiregularization of \(G\) and \({Reg}(G)\) is the semiregularization of \(T_2(G).\) They deduce for instance that the functors \(T_2\) and \(T_3\) commute in the category of semitopological groups.
