Let \(\Omega\) be a domain in the complex plane \(\mathbb C\), and let a weight function be of the form \(\omega=e^{-2mQ}\), where \(Q\) is a real valued function on \(\Omega\) and \(m\) is a real positive parameter. The authors consider the weighted Bergman space \(PA^2_{q,m}\), that is the space of all \(q\)-analytic functions (\(\overline{\partial}^q_z f=0\), for all \(z\in \Omega\)), which are square integrable on \(\Omega\) with respect to the weight \(\omega\). Let \(K_{q,m}\) denote the reproducing polyanalytic Bergman kernel associated with the space \(PA^2_{q,m}\). The authors give an algorithm to compute a near-diagonal asymptotic expansion of the weighted Bergman kernel \(K_{q,m}\) as \(m\) tends to infinity. Under suitable assumptions on the function \(Q\), the authors get the local expansion \[ K_{q,m}(z,w)\sim\{m^q\sigma^q_0(z,w)+m^{q-1}\sigma^q_1(z,w)+\ldots+m^{q-k}\sigma^q_k(z,w)\}e^{2mQ(z,w)}, \] where near the diagonal \(z=w\), the coefficient functions \(\sigma^q_j(z,w)\) are \(q\)-analytic in each of the variables \(z\) and \(\overline{w}\), \(j=0,1,\ldots,k\), and \(Q(z,w)\) is a polarization of \(Q(z)\). The control of the error term is of order \(O(m^{q-k-1}e^{mQ(z)+mQ(w)})\) in the parameter \(m\). In the case \(q=2\) the authors find explicit formulas for \(\sigma^q_j\), \(j=0,1,2\).
