Constructing bispectral dual Hahn polynomials (Q476124)

The author constructs bispectral dual Hahn polynomials \((q_{n})_{n}\) which are eigenfunctions of higher order difference operators. The author uses \(D\)-operators and the approach developed in a paper of the author and \textit{M. D. de la Iglesia} [Constr. Approx. 41, No. 1, 49--91 (2015; Zbl 1312.33028)]. The approach consists in constructing of \(D\)-operator for the dual Hahn polynomials, choosing polynomials such that the polynomials \((q_{n})_{n}\) be orthogonal and identifying the measure with respect to which the polynomials \((q_{n})_{n}\) are orthogonal.
