The purpose of this paper is to propose nonconforming finite elements (NFEs) of any order on quadrilaterals in a unifying way. The authors propose two families of NFEs of any odd order and one family of NFEs of any even order on quadrilateral meshes by using Gauss-Legendre points on edge of triangulation. Also NFE solutions on uniform rectangular grids for the Poisson equation in two dimensions are computed.
