The authors deal with the \(q\) analogue of certain Durrmeyer type Baskakov operators based on two parameters \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\). They estimate moments, weighted approximation properties, the rate of convergence using a weighted modulus of smoothness and the asymptotic formula. Also, they consider the modified form of operators to have better error estimation of such operators.
