This note is an ``even'' counterpart of work of H. M. Khudaverdian and T. Voronov on odd Poisson structures. Given a supermanifold \(M\), there is an associated algebra of densities \(\mathcal{F}(M)\), which is identified with the functions on a space \(\widehat{M}\). There exists a canonical surjection \[ C^{\infty}(\Pi T^*\widehat{M})\to C^{\infty}(\Pi T^*{M})\otimes \mathcal{F}^{\lambda}(M), \] where \(\Pi T^*{M}\) denotes the supermanifold obtained from the cotangent bundle \(T^*M\) by inverting the parity of the fibers (an odd symplectic manifold), and \(\mathcal{F}^{\lambda}(M)\) denotes the densities of weight \(\lambda\). It is shown in Theorem 3.2 that for \(\lambda\neq 1\) this map admits a canonical section preserving the odd Poisson bracket, which is constructed using a canonical differential operator obtained from the usual divergence operator. A consequence of this (seemingly taking \(\lambda=0\) above) is the following: given a Poisson \(r\)-ary bracket on \(M\) (this includes Poisson bivector fields on \(M\)) satisfying a degree constraint, one can lift it to a Poisson \(r\)-ary bracket on \(\widehat{M}\), and further all lifts are classified (Proposition 3.7). The author also analyzes why the above theorem fails in the case \(\lambda\neq 1\).
