It is well known that a \(C^*\)-algebra can be regarded as a non-commutative topological space. An interesting open problem is to attach a metric to such a space. A solution to this problem was suggested by \textit{M. A. Rieffel} [Doc. Math., J. DMV 3, 215--230 (1998; Zbl 0993.46043); ibid. 4, 559--600 (1999; Zbl 0945.46052)] by using natural metrics on the state space of the \(C^*\)-algebra. The author [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 368, No. 1, 365--411 (2016; Zbl 1334.46056)] introduced the notion of the Gromov-Hausdorff propinquity, which improves and extends Rieffel's ideas. In the paper under review, the notion of a dual Gromov-Hausdorff propinquity is introduced and studied. The results are a valuable contribution to the non-commutative metric spaces.
