Localization of free field realizations of affine Lie algebras (Q490736)

This interesting paper is devoted to the study of localizations of free field realizations of affine Lie algebras. The subject of analysis if the affine algebra \(A_1^{(1)}\), for which a new family of free field realizations is obtained. New examples of dense irreducible weight modules having infinite weight multiplicities are obtained from the twisted localization functor. Using a parabolic induction on such modules, the construction of new families of irreducible dense modules with infinite weight multiplicities is expanded to arbitrary affine Lie algebras. An analogy between weight modules with infinite-dimensional weight spaces over the Virasoro algebra and those obtained in this paper is shown. The results of this work constitute an important addition to the currently open classification problem of irreducible weight modules of affine Lie algebras.
