Engel condition on enveloping algebras of Lie superalgebras (Q494119)

Let \(L\) be a Lie superalgebra over a field of characteristic \(p\neq 2\) with enveloping algebra \(U(L)\). The authors of the present paper establish necessary and sufficient conditions so that \(U(L)\) is bounded Lie Engel. This is done in Corollary 1.1 when \(p=0\) and in Theorem 1.2 in the case in which \(p\geq 3\). Furthermore they provide the analogous characterization for the restricted enveloping algebra \(u(\mathcal{L})\) of a restricted Lie superalgebra \(\mathcal{L}\) over a field of characteristic \(p\geq 3\).
