The sixth Painlevé transcendents and the associated Schlesinger equation (Q496421)

The author builds convergent power series solutions with matrix coefficients of the Schlesinger system corresponding to the sixth Painlevé equation. From these solutions he obtains the known four basic power series solutions of \(P_{VI}\) equation desribed by \textit{D. Guzzetti} [Nonlinearity 25, No. 12, 3235--3276 (2012; Zbl 1267.34152)], two of them are expressed as convergent complex power series and the another two are of logarithmic type. In addition, the author gives the first proof of the convergence of these logarithmic solutions of \(P_{VI}\) equation. Studying the basic complex power series solutions of \(P_{VI}\) he describes sequences of their simple and double zeroes and poles, discusses non-decaying exponential oscillation and the analytic continuation around the origin.
