Motivated by the work of \textit{J. X. Sun} and \textit{X. Y. Zhang} [Acta Math. Sin. 48, No. 3, 439--446 (2005: Zbl 1124.34342)], the authors introduce the concept of a convex-power condensing map with respect to a bounded map and establish some fixed point theorems for the sum \(T+S\), where \(S\) is a strict contraction and \(T\) is a convex-power condensing map with respect to \(S\), including the Krasnosel'skii and Sadovskii fixed point theorems when \(T\) is compact or \(S=0\). The cases where \(S\) is nonexpansive or expansive are also considered. As an application, the existence of mild solutions to a broad class of neutral differential equations is investigated.
