In this paper, a periodic boundary value problem for a nonautonomous second-order differential equation with a \(p\)-Laplacian is considered. Using the dual least-action principle and a perturbation technique, existence results under a sub-\(p\)th-polynomial condition are obtained. Some recent results are extended by a generalized Wirtinger's inequality.
