On the wave equation with hyperbolic dynamical boundary conditions, interior and boundary damping and source (Q509956)

The paper is devoted to the study of an initial-boundary value problem, in a bounded regular subset of the \(\mathbb R^N\), for the damped wave equation with nonlinear source. The dynamic boundary condition is of hyperbolic type, damped and with source. This model has been considered by the author in an earlier paper: [Contemp. Math. 594, 295--307 (2013; Zbl 1329.35186)]. Results have been proved there for a simplified case of the IBVP. The aim in the present paper is to extend the analysis to the general case. One intends to treat interior and/or internal source and damping terms in an unified framework. Further one intends to study the case when supercritical boundary damping terms are included, the case when initial data belong to the energy space related to the stated problem and the problem of local Hadamard well-posedness. The second section of the paper is devoted to background and preliminary results as functional settings and weak solutions for the linear version of the stated problem. The main well-posedness result for the initial problem and a slightly more general version of it is presented and proved in the third and forth sections. Regularity results for the stated IBVP are presented in the fifth section and finally sixth section is devoted to the global existence and blow-up results. Appendix A: On the Cauchy problem for locally Lipschitz perturbations of maximal monotone operators and Appendix B : On the Laplace-Beltrami operator are added at the end of article.
