Dynamics of the focusing critical wave equation (Q513797)

As stated in the Introduction, the present note resumes mainly some results published in [\textit{T. Duyckaerts} et al., J. Eur. Math. Soc. (JEMS) 14, No. 5, 1389--1454 (2012; Zbl 1282.35088); ``Soliton resolution along a sequence of times for the focusing energy critical wave equation'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1601.01871}; \textit{H. Jia}, ``Soliton resolution along a sequence of times with dispersive error for type II singular solutions to focusing energy critical wave equation'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1510.00075}]. The article refers to the global dynamics of the energy critical wave equation without size restriction on data. The first part of the presentation is focused on examples of solutions and the second part on soliton resolution.
