The authors point out that invariant Lagrangian Diophantine tori in Hamiltonian systems are generically superexponentially stable, in the sense that nearby solutions remain close to the torus for an interval of time which dominates any time that is doubly exponentially large with respect to the inverse of the distance to the torus. For Gevrey smooth systems, the main results of the paper represent extensions of some \textit{A. Giorgilli} and \textit{A. Morbidelli}'s [Z. Angew. Math. Phys. 48, No. 1, 102--134 (1997; Zbl 0881.58032)] results.
