Counting and equidistribution in Heisenberg groups (Q514341)

In this very nice paper, the authors study the action of some arithmetic groups on complex hyperbolic spaces, especially the 2-dimensional space. They start by recalling some asymptotic counting and equidistribution problems which enables them to study certain arithmetic applications of both problems in this paper. After giving some preliminaries from the complex hyperbolic geometry, measure theory and algebraic number theory, they obtain a Mertens formula for Heisenberg groups. This paper deals with nearly all modern sub-areas of mathematics and it is very nicely written. It will be a very good reference for many researchers.
