The author considers the problem of parametric coefficient optimization in the global electric circuit equation. This equation arises as a major model equation in the study of electric processes in a thunderstorm cloud. In this paper, for the objective integral functional defined on solutions of the equation under initial boundary conditions natural for it, the author derives formulas for its first partial derivatives with respect to the control parameters.
