Let \({G=(V,E)}\) be a finite oriented connected graph and \({\overline{v},\underline{v}}\) two fixed vertices from \(V\). The quasi-1D-lattice is the infinite oriented graph obtained by gluing countable copies of \(G\) such that the point \(\overline{v}\) of one copy is identified with the point \(\underline{v}\) of the next copy. Motivated by the investigation of the molecular motors on a linear track, the authors study the random walks on such quasi-1D-lattices. Continuing their own research [J. Stat. Phys. 157, No. 6, 1062--1096 (2014; Zbl 1310.82024)], the authors study the large deviations principle and the Gallavotti-Cohen type symmetry (i.e. when the LD rate function \(I\) satisfies the equality \({I(\vartheta)=I(-\vartheta)+c\vartheta}\) for some \(c\in\mathbb{R}\) and all \({\vartheta\in\mathbb{R}}\)). The authors obtain that Markov random walks on so called \((\underline{v},\overline{v})\)-minimal quasi-1D-lattices have the Gallavotti-Cohen type symmetry. Furthermore, outside the class of \((\underline{v},\overline{v})\)-minimal quasi-1D-lattices, the GS symmetry is almost everywhere broken.
