Bessel periods and the non-vanishing of Yoshida lifts modulo a prime (Q522023)

The paper calculates the Bessel periods of the vector-valued Yoshida lifts (special type modular forms) associated to some special imaginary quadratic fields. Preliminarily, the paper expresses certain normalized Bessel periods in terms of toric period integrals and studied integrality of Yoshida lifts. By the obtained formula of the Bessel periods, the authors prove the non-vanishing modulo a prime of the Fourier coefficients of Yoshida lifts.
