Results are presented concerning the differentiability of the series \[ F_k(x)=\sum_{n=1}^\infty \frac{\sigma_{k-1}(n)}{n^{k+1}}\sin(2\pi n x), \phantom{aaa} G_k(x)=\sum_{n=1}^\infty \frac{\sigma_{k-1}(n)}{n^{k+1}}\cos(2\pi n x) \] arising from the Eisenstein series of weight 2, where \[ \sigma_{k-1}(n) = \sum_{d | n} d^{k-1}. \] Defining a square-Brujno number to be an irrational number \(x\) satisfying \(\sum_{n=0}^\infty \frac{ \log q_{n+1}(x)}{q_n(x)^2} < \infty\), where \((\frac{p_n(x)}{q_n(x)})_{n=0}^\infty\) is the sequence of continued fraction approximations of \(f\), the main theorem states that \(F_2\) is differentiable at \(x\) if and only if \(x\) is a square-Brujno number, while \(G_2\) is differentiable at \(x\) if \(x\) is irrational and satisfies one of two conditions involving the continued fraction approximation of \(x\). A sketch of the proof of the theorems is given. In addition, a conjecture of analogous results for Eisenstein series of weights other than 2 is presented.
