Special divisors on curves on \(K3\) surfaces carrying an Enriques involution (Q527714)

Let \(Y\) be a Enriques surfaces, and let \(X\) be its universal cover, which is a \(K3\) surface. The author shows that if \(Y\) is generic then the gonality of any smooth curve \(C\) on \(X\) with \(C^2\) is cut out by an elliptic curve \(E\) on \(X\) having minimal intersection with \(C\).
