Let \(\mathcal{H}\) be a function space on a compact space \(K\). The set of simpliciality of \(\mathcal{H}\) is the set of all points of \(K\) for which there exists a unique maximal representing measure. Properties of this set were studied by \textit{M. Bačák} [Ill. J. Math. 53, No. 1, 289--302 (2009; Zbl 1203.46004)], mainly for \(K\) metrizable. The author investigates in this paper the properties of the set of simpliciality for \(K\) nonmetrizable. Basically, he shows that the (nice) properties valid in the metrizable case are not necessarily present in the absence of metrizability. Moreover, such counterexamples are constructed even when \(K\) is a compact convex subset of a real locally convex space.
