Some aspects of the theory of manifolds over algebras and Weil bundles (Q548741)

The present survey paper is devoted to certain recent results in the field of topology and geometry of smooth manifolds over local algebras and Weil bundles. Section 2 is devoted to some facts from the theory of Weil bundles defined by Weil algebras in the sense of \textit{I. Kolář, P. W. Michor} and \textit{J. Slovák} [Natural operations in differential geometry. Berlin: Springer-Verlag (corrected electronic version) (1993; Zbl 0782.53013)] and \textit{A. Weil} [Colloques internat. Centre nat. Rech. Sci. 52, 111--117 (1953; Zbl 0053.24903)]. Section 3 deals with complete and radiant manifolds over Weil algebras (see, e.g. [\textit{W. Goldman} and \textit{M. W. Hirsch}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 286, 629--649 (1984; Zbl 0561.57014); \textit{V. V. Shurygin}, Russ. Math. 47, No.~11, 84--93 (2003); translation from Izv. Vyssh. Uchebn. Section 4 is devoted to generalized transversal structures. In particular, it contains some considerations of the generalized Weil bundle \(T^\mu M\) of a foliated manifold \((M,\mathcal F)\) defined by a Weil algebra epimorphism \(\mu:A\to B\) and smooth manifolds over a Weil algebra \(A\) modeled by \(A\)-modules of the form \(A^n\oplus B^m\). Finally, section 5 is devoted to the description of generalized Weil bundles defined for parameter-dependent manifolds and product preserving functors acting on the categories of parameter-dependent manifolds.
