The paper deals with standard quotients of the anti-de Sitter Lorentz space. By the work of \textit{W. M. Goldman} [J. Differ. Geom. 21, 301--308 (1985; Zbl 0591.53051)] and \textit{E. Ghys} [Ann. Sci., Éc. Norm. Supér. (4) 20, No.~2, 251--270 (1987; Zbl 0663.58025)] it is known that nonstandard compact quotients exist. The standard quotients were studied by \textit{R. S. Kulkarni} and \textit{F. Raymond} [J. Differ. Geom. 21, 231--268 (1985; Zbl 0563.57004)]. Here some standard quotients are studied for which the author shows that there exists a fundamental domain which is a polyhedron in the anti-de Sitter space.
