The authors study analytical and numerical stability of nonlinear neutral delay integro-differential equations (NDIDEs). They derive sufficient conditions for analytical stability for the equations with a variable delay. It is shown that any A-stable linear multistep method can preserve the asymptotic stability of the analytical equation for nonlinear NDIDEs with a constant delay. Numerical experiments validate the theory.
