Numerically flat principal bundles (Q558632)

In [\textit{J.-P. Demailly}, \textit{T. Peternell} and \textit{M. Schneider}, J. Algebraic Geom. 3, 295--345 (1994; Zbl 0827.14027)] it was introduced the notion of numerically effective holomorphic vector bundle and numerically flat vector bundle on a compact Kähler manifold. In the paper under review the authors introduce the same notions for a principal \(G\)-bundle \(E_G\), where \(G\) is a semisimple complex algebraic group. They prove that \(E_G\) is numerically flat if and only if ad\((E_G)\) is numerically flat. Numerically flat implies semistable; the authors give the additional conditions needed to reverse this implication.
