The chaotic phenomena of the ODE of the Josephson junction ẍ\(+\beta (1+\epsilon \cos x)\dot x+\sin x=\rho +b \sin (\omega t)\) is analyzed using numerical methods. In an earlier paper in the same journal [ibid. 4, No.4, 345-354 (1988; Zbl 0667.58011)] the author proved the existence of two non-chaotic regions of the parameters and the existence of a horseshoe in a further region. This paper studies some of the remaining parameter regions by Runge-Kutta integrating the equation and plotting chaos relevant functions such as Lyapunov exponents or power spectra. These numerical studies strongly suggest the existence of further non- chaotic regions and of regions with intermittent chaos or period doubling bifurcation. The author gives numerical approximations to some of these regions. It should be an interesting problem to try and find rigorous proofs of the obvious chaotic phenomena.
