The Fourier-Jacobi functions of n (Q5895409)

The book of \textit{M. Eichler} and \textit{D. Zagier} [The theory of Jacobi forms, Prog. Math. 55, Birkhäuser, Boston-Basel (1985; Zbl 0554.10018)] refers to classical Jacobi forms on \(H\times {\mathbb{C}}\), where H is the upper half-plane in \({\mathbb{C}}\). In the paper under review the author investigates Jacobi forms on \(H\times {\mathbb{C}}^ n\). They are related with modular forms on the orthogonal group of a quadratic form of signature (2,n) via Fourier-Jacobi expansion and with elliptic modular forms of (half-) integral weight. Moreover the author describes certain types of Hecke operators acting on the space of Jacobi forms.
