Let \(f\) be a meromorphic function and let \[ L(f)= a_kf^{(k)}+\cdots+ a_2f''+ a_1f' \] be a linear differential polynomial of \(f\), where \(a_j\) are constants. The authors extend many theorems regarding the uniqueness problem for entire functions which share a finite nonzero value with \(L\). For instance, the authors prove that if \(f\) is a non-constant entire function such that \(f= 1\) implies \(f'= 1\) and \(f'= 1\) implies \( L'(f)= 1\), then, either \(f= Ae^z\) or \(f =Ae^z+ 1\).
