Disturbance decoupling by constant measurement feedback (DDPCM) means that one wants to find a \(K\) such that when applying \(u= Ky\) to the system \(\dot x= Ax+ Bu+ Ew\), \(y= C_1x+ D_1w\), \(z= C_2 x+ D_2 u+ D_{22}w\), the disturbance \(w\) has no influence on \(z\). Assuming that the system \((A,B,C_2,D_2)\) is left invertible or that the system \((A,E, C_1,D_1)\) is right invertible, the authors obtain an equivalent condition for the solvability of DDPCM. If the invertibility condition is not satisfied, then an algorithm is applied which reduces the system. When the reduced system is invertible, an equivalent condition for the solvability of the DDPCM can be formatted. Furthermore, a formula for the static measurement feedback \(K\) is given. The main advantage of the presented solution is that it can be formulated by a set of linear equations.
